In the framework of the eMEDia project, 28 Tunisian university teachers have been hosted by IULM University form 25 to 29 January 2016 for a training of trainer session on cross-media journalism. Participants are university teachers in the Master in Cross-Media Journalism from IPSI La Manouba, Sousse and Sfax and professionals from the Syndicate of the Tunisian Journalists of Sfax.
Participants attended an intensive training program taught by IULM Professors Guido di Fraia, Massimo Schiavon and Andrea Caccia, follow Auli Harju-Researcher at the Tampere Research Centre for Journalism, Media and Communication (COMET) and the documentary film director Thierry Bertini.
The training of trainers organised by IULM University and coordinated by Andrea Miconi with Simona Pezzano e Claudia Crippa, represents a step forward to enhance the ability to create high quality contents, using video, audio, texts, and new communication platforms while producing journalistic contents by considering the peculiarities of the channel used.
Upcoming training of trainers sessions will place in Finland at the University of Tampere on March 14-18, 2016 and in Spain at the University of Barcelona on April 18-22, 2016.
